Richard Siegel - When They're Not Here Anymore
Richard Siegel is a comedian, singer/songwriter, poet, producer, CEO of a charity and works with autistic children. Though his father was amongst the world's leading Gastroenterologist who had a library named after him at Hopkins, and his step-father invented the pacemaker, none of this could prevent genes and lifestyle to lead to 13 stents and Quintuple Bypass surgery. Richard is now speaking for the American Heart Association, has lost 50 lbs. and walks anywhere from 7-14 miles a day.
Sometimes when people get sick or they get old
They're no longer with us, even with their heart of gold

Sometimes they talk to us one day
And soon after that, they pass away
It's a horrible feeling when you love someone so much
And they're no longer there to hold and to touch
None of us knows what happens when people die
We all ask ourselves how and we all wonder why
We never get the answers but they're still around
In our heart, in our minds, we can still feel and hear the sound
We can still sense them in our heart
We can still feel their love, we're not completely apart
We can still love them, we can still care
People don't just die, their soul is still there
So don't lose hope, cause they'll help you when needed the most
They watch over you and they guide you, they're a friendly ghost
And they're in your heart and they're in your mind
They help you when you're in trouble and teach you to be kind
So though they're not there to touch, they love you so
And they'll be there with you wherever you go
